Atlantis Launch
Feeling a bit nostalgic about the shuttle program as I watched Atlantis next to final launch this afternoon. It doesn’t seem so long ago that we cheered on its first flight. Now the shuttle program is winding down. After the final journey Atlantis will be cannibalized for parts for the two remaining shuttles. And then the program will end.
Lord, protect the crew and bring them home safely. Be with all the NASA workforce as they contemplate a very uncertain future.
