Terri, I want to practice some first. I am working in several different directions right now.
My mother-in-law, Marcelia, was a well-known singer in Chicago, with an incredible voice. Unfortunately all that survived are old cassette tapes. John is working hard to restore as much as possible. We think we will have enough for two CDs. And we may do a couple of videos. I also want to offer some as downloads. We are still working out the details.
Then I also want to start doing podcasts.
And I am working on some more downloads and other assorted projects.
I was just looking at the sales reports at WTGifts. I notice that several copies of the “nursing home” poem small poster have sold. Of course I am very grateful! For those who may want multiple copies, we do offer a free download in PDF format. http://wordthunder.com/nhpp.pdf
My mother-in-law’s music. She has one of the most magnificent voices I’ve ever heard. Unfortunately the tapes are not in great shape. But my son is doing some good restoration.
It’s been nearly 10 years and I continue to get more questions about Echo’s Voice than anything else I’ve written. I took our version off the market because I wasn’t satisfied. Even with the evolution of the book it still felt like a first draft.
Some days a thing in the news will give me chills because I realize I was speculating about that very thing ten years ago.
Some nights I dream about either Rick or Echo telling me they are glad to see me again and they missed me.
I know there is something more but I’m not sure what.
Sarah I’ve been thinking about Echo’s Voice since our talk last night. You said you weren’t sure where you want to start. Have you thought about writing a short stoy or maybe several and see where that talkes you?
Yes, I’ve watched the entire series. It does get a tad cheesy at times, but still interesting. Funny how just the thing they need just happens to turn up in the warehouse.
Of course I couldn’t use solar in Dominoes. That was restrictive. I could come up with a plausible reason why they didn’t use wood gas, would have created even more of a breathing hazard. Truth, I didn’t research it.
Video created and narrated by John Mankowski. John created the video from old VHS tape and photos.

John created the video of his great-grandmother from 20-year-old VHS tape.
Terri gave me a great suggestion. Create a post for general discussion, for all things unrelated to other posts.
When you gonna start posting podcasts?

And the giveaways. Still haven’t made up my mind about how to proceed with that.

Podcasts? Are you going to sing Sarah
LOL! NO.
I don’t sing.
I want to do them to read excerpts and to do audio blogs.
Glad to see you found us, Katie. Don’t be a stranger.
We REALLY don’t want Sarah to sing.
Didn’t you say something about restoring some old music?
My mother-in-law’s music. She has one of the most magnificent voices I’ve ever heard. Unfortunately the tapes are not in great shape. But my son is doing some good restoration.
Sarah were you planning to bring Echo’s Voice back? That book seems more on target every day.

Maybe next year.

Forgot to ask last night, are you still watching The Colony? The final show is next week. Why didn’t they use that wood-burning thingy in Dominoes?
On the short stories, an interesting idea…

Hey Terri, I’m thinking whatever I do with EV, I should release it on Kindle for no other reason than the irony.
I just saw on Twitter that the Kindle version of Dan Brown’s new book is selling better than the print version on Amazon. Sign of things to come?
Sarah is it possible to add something for mobile users?
Lynn, I installed a different script, see if this works. It doesn’t work with my Blackberry so not too hopeful. I will do what I can.
Sarah I’m thinking about facebook. I know you’re all over Twitter what about facebook?
My sister Vera really likes Facebook. I can’t really see the point, but if you join maybe I will too.
I’m still thinking about it.
If the site looks strange at times this weekend I am working on some upgrades. Which ALWAYS means trouble.
Sure is quiet around here. Everybody must be out enjoying the weather.
I’ve been trying to catch up on several projects. So much I want to write but I keep thinking do this first.
Cooler weather tomorrow and Thursday. I must take time away from the office to work in the garden.
