Yes, I would recommend brown turnkey for our area too. It is easy to find, and reliable. You will usually find it sold in 3-gallon containers in the spring. But you can save money if you can buy in a smaller size. They are fast growers, so you are going to get figs the first or second year anyway. 

Grow in full sun away from structures and power lines. Or grow them in a large planter. The main thing is plenty of sunshine. They don&#039;t seem to have any serious pests, although the birds also love fresh figs. I don&#039;t mind sharing with the birds since they are so helpful with insect pests in the rest of the garden.</description>
